How are you all managing to sleep in this weather ?
Windows are open, lying here on the bed, stripped naked with a cold flannel on the back of my neck... And I'm still sweltering |

I have a portable aircon unit. Which I can't use
The vent hose needs to be hung out of a window. I can't leave a window open because I have indoor cats, (and because I am super tempting to insects and react really badly to bites).
So, generally, I sleep badly in hot weather! |

"I have a tower fan which is so effective that I can snuggle into my duvet on even the hottest nights.
Can you send it to me by courier ? "
I saw some similar ones in Tesco earlier today. It was a very good investment. |

Cold baths repeatedly. Keeping curtains closed on sunny rooms during the day. Keeping myself cool and hydrated well all day. Restful mind, meditation and yoga, ensuring my mind is relaxed, my body is well worked on and Im fitter to face the stresses of the day and night. I keep a clear bedroom and wind down progressively through evening. And noone is allowed to sleep with me. If still too hot, it is another cold bath. |

"Spray your sheets with a fine mist of water before you get in it.
Or get a stand up fan and put it over the bed - that works for me. "
I'd prefer it if someone sprayed me with a fine must |

I'm sure there are plenty of men on this site who would be delighted to spray you and repeat as required. |

If you have to vent ot through a window, would that not make the air conditioning not work. As it wouldn't be able to regulate room temp, as the new air entering from the window would always be at a different temp? |
