I wonder whether our tastes in women/men are also correlated with our other likes and dislikes. For example, I love Lagavulin single malts, bold and terroir-rich Chateauneuf du Pape wines, jazz and blues, subtle Darjeeling tea, legal thrillers by John Grisham for fiction, Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter for non-fiction. I like to think I like complex and intense experiences. What are your tastes? |

I don't believe that has much relevance in deciding who we may or not have chemistry with to be honest, dating sites are full of that kind of information, and yet people with perfectly matching tastes can have zero chemistry, and vice versa. |
