If you have bought books from Amazon, you know that they are awfully good at making recommendations based on your past purchases and recommendations,

I wonder whether our tastes in women/men are also correlated with our other likes and dislikes. For example, I love Lagavulin single malts, bold and terroir-rich Chateauneuf du Pape wines, jazz and blues, subtle Darjeeling tea, legal thrillers by John Grisham for fiction, Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter for non-fiction. I like to think I like complex and intense experiences. What are your tastes?

The second part of the question is how does that correlate with your tastes in men or women? Spicy and hot?

Yes I do rather find that once one has acquired a taste for the female figure I'm happy to have them all recommend themselves as an option

My tastes are simple and uncomplicated. I don't drink wine. Breakfast tea. Debussy and any book I can keep reading past the first chapter

I don't know how that correlates with my men. Intellectual yet uncomplicated. Diverse I suppose

I don't believe that has much relevance in deciding who we may or not have chemistry with to be honest, dating sites are full of that kind of information, and yet people with perfectly matching tastes can have zero chemistry, and vice versa.
