Why else would they make it clear they know what your preferences are,make it clear they know they're not your preference and yet still want to meet

Agreed. We have had guys message us so persistently and creepily that the only conclusion we could come up with was that they wanted us to block them. It seemed like their goal, as if it was something they got off on. Not a major issue for us or anything, we dont take it to heart, but since you posted a thread, just wanted to say we have experienced this as well. |

I had a guy the other day asking what my problem was when he's read my profile and messaged me and I just ignored him..I told him he was pretty much the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. Too old by 15 years, married, 300 miles away etc and he didn't understand why that was a problem.
Peculiar!!
Good job I met lots of lovely single guys this weekend who are now on my shopping list |

They must do. We've blocked one chap about six times but he keeps making a new profile and trying again. The messages always follow the same patern.
He asks for a meet
We simply reply no thanks
He asks why
We block
Then a couple of months later it starts again. |

I have to say I do love men and never have any trouble on here so its not a moan,I just wonder why when its hard enough for some to get meets that they willingly set themselves up for rejection? |

Because no matter what you say you're looking for they think that they are the exception. They're special. I dont think it's a love of rejection i think it's sheer arrogance. Followed sharply by anger when you say no. *Sigh. |

Ah but when a message is penned, you have to appreciate that the author is oblivious to any other people on the site. We believe we can sway you and tempt you to break your preferences....After all its only us who exists at the point we press send ignoring the warning were not in your age range etc.
How about ladies actively send messages and men aren't allowed to ? |

I must have this affliction too. I message men and get rejected about 90% of the time. I think I have read the profile but perhaps there is a bit profile blindness going when you see something fanciable.
