Right since its unfortunate i'm not wealthy and the cupboards are bare what can i eat as i'm starving!
Looked in the freezer and i can see chicken fillets. Can you defrost them in a microwave?. I have rice and curry paste but no onions or mushrooms so i could make a boring curry.
Also i have pasta and a tin of chopped tomato's so i could maybe add the chicken to that?
So question is, can you defrost a chicken fillet in the microwave.
And yes i'm a single bloke |

yes and as previous poster says - slowly is the operative word. And leave to stand for a few minutes ... |

"Personally I wouldn't recommend it!! You could try as long as you do it very slowly and on very low heat....could have had half my pizza if you had said lol "
The next time you want a pizza call me and i will deliver it.
Takes 3 hours to send it up though |

"you can but i would stick to veggie pasta. defrost the fillet overnight and avoid the risk lol
enjoy your dinner "
Any dish without meat poultry or fish is a waste. A veggie pasta is a crime |

i've often defrosted chicken in the microwave, though i wouldnt f it was on the bone...but you have fillets so no probs, and as the lady said, let it stand a little first.
...or let some generous lady cook for you |

A good few years ago I worked at an Indian Take-Away and without fail, evry night, they defrosted the chicken in hot water and to the best of my knowledge nobody came to any harm ..
Myself included, bcause all I ate was chicken dishes
Still not keen on the rapid defrost chicken scenario however but maybe that's the way we are programmed to think ?
In fact rice is an even worse culprit for food poisoning beleive it or not

Kool..thats even more dodgy than my 2 minutes on full nuke in the microwave...kudos to you girl...do you often run out of toilet paper in your house...I DO.."
I don't possess a microwave, when i blew the last one up I decided we would start eating healthily and get rid of the microwaved crap......maybe it would be healthier for me to buy another one strangely enough we rarely have tummy upsets |
