Ovoviviparous = live bearing, Viviparous = egg layers. As eggs are very vulnerable my guess is that the live-bearers came first and so Chicken then egg… BUT where did the live-bearers come from, they must have started as an egg!!!! |

Doesn't anyone listen to science anymore?
Apparently it all started with a big bang. So, the real question to be asked is, who was doing the banging? |

"eggs are simple shapes - they got to have come before the chickens which are more complex with wings, thighs, bones and beaks and things...;-)"
i hear Siberian hamsters are a bit complex too, they leave loads to the imagination lol |

Ah well, now then if you’re going to go all the way back to the big bang… its said that this planet started out a molten ball of liquid matter. So far as we know nothing can live at such temperatures and so it follows that the planet was completely sterile… so who or what spat in the petri dish to get things moving in the first place? |

perhaps the woman/women who were banged spat in the petri dish?
ps what petri dish? |

I was wondering that also |

Petri dish = just a lab dish used for allsorts of things such as growing a bacteria culture. Sticks in my mind because in school biology we had a few petri dishes loaded with some gelatine type stuff. We had to put stuff in it to contaminate it to see what happened… I was the one who got to spit in it LOL. |

I remember them. I was referring to the origin of time, before glass dishes were invented. Glass may have been, in the big soup of things.
But your post reminded me of an experiment we did at schhol. Remember Archimedes and the displacement of water? After one physics lesson a few lads "displaced" our dicks in a jar of water to measure the displacement.
We learned two things. 1) the volume of our dicks but more importantly 2) it's a hell of a lot less volume when the water is cold.
Happy days. |

We did an experiment with a mirror…
The girls and boys changing rooms were built side-to-side a mirror image of each other. In the back corner of the dividing wall was a little cubby-hole that housed the shower controls. This was identical in the girls changing room but there was no brick wall, just a bit of hardboard separating the two compartments. And so… we knocked out the divider and using chewing gum stuck a small mirror on the wall in the cubby-hole and from this vantage point we could see the girls running naked to and from the showers…. What came first the chicken or the pervert?

To have a pervert... you have to have a standard set of criteria as to what makes him/ her a pervert first to define... so I guess it is still the aerodynamic egg that came first lol |

Boyle's or Charle's law, whatever, where the volume expands proportionatley to the pressure and heat applied?
Or is that Chemistry?

Aerodynamic?
I read that eggs are ovular (ish ) for the reason that they roll inwards, together against each other, rather than roll away and thus liable to break. Clever design.
"
I was thinking of the wings of an aeroplane and how they are designed to create max lift... |
