Letely, i find if you can get them home in one piece you've done very well. Not exactly a good strategy on Tesco's part, i often "double em up" to strengthen them. |

"Think mine disintegrated yesterday as I was getting it out of the car .... and the bottle of wine went crashing to the floor!! Bugger!! "
what a waste of precious fluid...;-)
Had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago (not the bottle but the disintegrating bag) |

Copied from net ..
The reality is that plastic companies had produced both bio-degradeable (degrades in the ground) and oxo-degradeable (degrades in the air) plastic bags long before this nonsense was introduced. Taking Tesco as an example, their plastic carrier bag will start to degrade after about 18 months and will be completely degraded in 2 years. I can confirm that this is 100% accurate. I have an old Tesco carrier bag in my garage that is starting to degrade and it literally disintegrates if you touch it. If one of these bags finds its way into the environment, it will degrade. This has significant benefits in particular for marine mammals. Fair enough, the oxo-degradeable bags won’t degrade in landfill, but that’s not really the point.

Jeezuz. if it took me two years to get home from the checkouts, it wouldn't just be the carrier bags that were degraded.
My "Magnums" would be all gooey for one. "
Do you share your Magnum? |

I remember driving past a landfill site one windy day. There was a wire-web fence, which was about half a mile long and the height of a house.... totally covered in plastic bags. It looked really freaky, a giant plastic bag wall in the middle of nowhere. |

you were expecting this weren't you
deffo, although only licking, sucking and gentle nibbling allowed, no real biting
but you can lick the cream that dribbles down the shaft, i mean stick, if you wish,
but you knew that |

2rite they don't lol, they come in 3's -)
at the mo at Tesco's. Good value too at 99p for 3.
far better than theme parks as such where they are around £1.50 eachish. |

Lidl even better at the moment but the ample availability of lick and suckable items is directly proportionate to demand and market growth - we could be in for a long summer ! |
