"It is thier choice to use drugs, maybe it was to fit in with others or to help her deal with her life. At least she is not breaking into people houses, or mugging people. It is not right though."
if they're trafficked girls they often aren't using drugs from choice |

I don't think most start out with the intention of becoming drug addicts.
It starts as an occasional pick-me-up, a bit of a crutch in bad times or a small escape from life.
It's not unknown for people to deliberately get women hooked and then send them out to sell themselves.
I don't think being a drug addict is a choice for most. They ended up there by whatever route and don't have the drive or support to quit. They continue because they don't know how to do anything else. |

Mine are so worth much more than that
On a serious note though sometimes the drugs are forced upon them until they have no choice anymore because they are so hooked. It is a sad world I wouldn't wish upon even my worst enemy. |

I've read more and more profiles that have a hint of either touting for business or some couples profiles that look and read as though the female is being pimped.
Not explicitly and quite probably just misunderstood but just something I've noticed. |

I have read lots of stories about girls meeting guys and being promised the world, next thing they are manipulated and lead into drugs. Sometimes it's not always a choice for some. |

Terrible really, I think the wrong path taken and they end up on drugs to cope with being on the game.
Bad homelife, unloving family, a number of things can send them down that path.

Sometimes it's the other way around, they start working because they need more money for drugs. |

People don't wake up one day and think right today I'm going to become a drug addict....events take place, incidents happen life throws 10 tons of shit at them...some don't have strong coping skills so use drugs, alcohol as a way of coping..it does not mean they are any less human than the rest of us.... |

"Taking drug by which ever method they are given is a choice, with the exception of the girls who are trafficked and bought and sold by men"
Taking a drug, yes. Nobody chooses to become addicted. |

It could happen to anyone with the right (or, rather, wrong) circumstances. |

Very true but sometimes they do get in so deep they reject help or there aint enough support for them or the support net work is understaffed or waiting lists are in place |

Very true the drug support services are being cut all the time due to supporting people funding cuts etc so I agree with you there...However there are some well established drug agencies that are doing a grand job |

If they turned to the drugs as support in the first place it can be very difficult to get off them. They need support to break the addiction and to deal with all the issues the addiction caused, as well as support for whatever made them turn to drugs in the first place. That's a lot of support required by each individual and most aren't in a position to pay for rehab. |
