Got to agree with "the bob". Just had one and I hate it. At least it will grow. I think I look a hundred years older.... usually I can do SOMETHING with my hair but I don't even have enough to tie up. Never go to your best friends for wine and let a visiting hairdresser cut your hair after a bottle of prosecco!!! I'm TOO stupid .... |

I used to have an undercut, about 18 inches long at the top, number 1 on the sides and back. Then I grew the back and shaved it narrower so I had a mohican but tied in to a ponytail rather than spiked it.
I have been knows to wear an aliceband when growing my hair and it was too short for a ponytail...

In the 80's at school, my mate had a mullet that was permed at the back. He thought it looked great for about ten minutes, then the abuse started coming thick and fast. We all looked cool with our Perry cuts though. |

I've had fringed pageboys and the perfect 80's bob, a brief flirtation with a perm (just no), the standard 90's Indie girl bob with undercut as well as waist length with hair wraps, the odd dreadlock and God knows what else attached (back in the nosering and henna rinse days) as well as full layered flicky out hair. An asymetric bob was the worst; it looked phenomenal but then Victoria Beckham had one a couple of months later and everyone started copying it.
I'll keep long and fringed for the time being. At least I never had a mullet or rat tail. My brother did though. |

"Phil Oakey from Human League used to be ridiculed...But I always liked it "
He was a style icon. We were all sporting Oakey "lite" hair.
My brother had a mullet, blonde streaks, a sharks tooth earing, fluorescent tbag tshirts and ......side lace up winklepickers.....burgundy ones. |
