Having spent most of the last few days attempting to furnish my new flat I have come to the following conclusion: it is actually impossible to buy a full price carpet. I have yet to stumble upon a carpet shop that hasn't had a sale on for at least the last 3 billion years!
I'm moving on to couches next and this got me to thinking, how many other seemingly simple tasks is it impossible to do...? |

A bit like those sports shops that have closing down sales for years and then just when you go to get something from there you find they have actually closed down !. |
