Aagghhhh I agreed to foster an 8 week old kitten till her forever mummy can take her and now I'm laid in bed racked with guilt listening to her crying downstairs

Any tips? Shes in the downstairs toilet to keep herself safe and she has a teddy and a hot water bottle but it doesn't seem to be working!,

Yeah a clock. Either put her in your room. Or if you intend her staying where she is. Resist the urge to go and comfort her. You need to be cruel to be kind I'm afraid assuming she has a litter try etc

I bought a kitten from Woolwich market when I was a teen as I felt sorry for it

My Dad wasn't impressed that he had to pull kitchen cupboards apart when it decided to hide under them and I had the weekend to find a home for it

Bring her up to your bedroom... she'll be fine!

Enjoy your time with her! Meow

Put her in bed with you....

Doesn't matter that you think you are only a temp... When the other mother takes it away, it'll settle in no problem...

"faithful as a cat"

Enjoy it while you have it...

Agree with the sane here - she needs company, so spend the night in the loo with her or bring her up.

Noticeable difference between the male and female responses lol

I can't have her upstairs as she currently doesn't seem to want to use the litter tray either!! Ticking clock helped she settled after about an hour

She has been shut in a room in a scary new house. It wont hurt her to go give her some attention. Most cats adjust to new homes regardless if u et er come to bed or not. At 8 weeks shes isnt used tl being on her own yet.

Mum to 2 cats atm hehe
