"Let's just say it varies from the boring to the bonkers. Leaning a little more to the latter.
Then you enjoy it I presume?"
Most of the time. The current one is a bit of a slog but that's mostly because I'm looking forward to the next one already. And I keep getting distracted. |

"Musician here if that counts. Playing and composing. I can't draw or paint for toffee though and wish I could - that part of my brain appears to be absent."
Awesome!! Thought that might be the case after the whole Penderecki thing |

I'd say I'm an artist (photographer) but it took 15 years to name myself one. Working in the advertising world brought upon a jaded view on what's art and what's commercialism, only to realise it doesn't matter. |

Thank you. It's been an age old discussion really starting from being asked to leave the Tate other what I deemed constructive criticism at a contemporary exhibition in the late 90's. Maybe I was a little too constructive |

I can relate to this, although I've dealt with it by weaving my own maverick "outsider" way around being both a contemporary 'conceptual' artist and a spiritual 'romantic' artist...forging together the worlds of art and commercialism in ways that work for me. Neither, on their own, do it for me...it's when they come together that things get interesting for me |

What Colour is the wind? Copyrights Reserved.
Why do people complain?
About the wet stuff the rain
Without it the grass would not be green
On the horizon trees would not be seen
Rain seems to promote all our troubles
But without it there would be no puddles
So we really should stop complaining
When next we wake and it’s raining
There is something about snow
The White stuff and I think we know
It reminds us of playful frolics
Of being cold and the drinking of Horlicks
Games on sledges and balls made to fight
Of a cold dark winters night
But its gone too soon all of a rush
To use up the fun before it becomes slush
I heard a question once which made me gasp!
What colour is the wind a man did ask
Strange I thought I must surely take note
The next time the wind is caught in the sail of a boat
Captured, with no where to go
Think of a colour, red green or even indigo
But why ask a question of this kind
Simple he said I am actually blind
We all want the sun to shine forever
No rain or wind or snow not ever
But without these companions of the sun in the sky
All we would do is sit in the sun and roundly fry
These companions should be celebrated not to mock
If we didn’t have them we would use all the sun block
Sunbathing would be subject to a total ban
Because by then we would all have a lovely tan!
Suppose what I am saying in a round about way
That our weather is gorgeous and here to stay
Subject that is to the phenomena of Global Warming
And opinions on that are still forming
But celebrate the rain wind and snow
The sun takes care of itself in a self-righteous glow
So Jump in Puddles and from snowballs hide
The colour of the wind? Look and you decide
