Just because someone chose to look does not mean they want to meet you, and that goes for women as well as men. Rather than get your knickers in a twist about who is looking maybe you should spend time searching for the profiles that interest you and message those people. Generally this is a more successful approach

Before I set my filters I would regularly get upto a hundred messages a day. I work full time, I really didn't have the time to say thanks but no thanks to them all. On the rare occasion that I did reply all I would get was abuse. Hence the reason for adding the filters.
