Fantastic actor - utterly believable in any roll.
So sad to see him go.
I was readin about him today - apparently he just thought of al those film roles (Manificent 7, Good, Bad, Ugly etc) as just a means of making money so that he could support his real passion for acting on stage!
I wish I could have seen him act in real life!

"He stole every scene in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, without a doubt my all-time favourite western.
Rest In Peace Tucco."
He scared the crap out of me in that role when I was a kid!

I loved his acting in Westerns and
he was by far one of my best bad guys in a film
His character in The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez, also known as The Rat, was a loveable rogue and scoundrel, who truly made villany a way of life and terrorised the American West for many years.
Tuco's Crimes, for which he had been found guilty, and wanted in over 29 counties of the United States, for the purposes of hanging include: murder; armed robbery of citizens, state banks and post offices; the theft of sacred objects; arson in a state prison; perjury; bigamy; deserting his wife and children; inciting prostitution; kidnapping; extortion; receiving stolen goods; selling stolen goods; passing counterfeit money; assaulting a Justice of the Peace; raping a virgin of the White race, and statuatory rape of a minor of the Black race; derailing of trains in order to rob the passengers; highway robbery; robbing an unknown number of churches, catching and selling fugitive slaves, setting fire to a wagon train; selling a hundred rounds of stolen ammunition to a Souix Indian, and finally...mis-representing himself as a Mexican general and fraudulently claiming a salary and allowance from the Union Army for 12 months.
I mean, you've got to be impressed by his resume .., and mind you, these are only the ones he'd been tried and convicted of in court |
