What are the differences between mens and women's razors?...

Do they give you different results?...

Which are best for which areas?...

I'm forever cutting myself and want to blame the razors rather than my technique

I used to use Venus but I would get a rash 2 days later. Now I'm using Proglide and it's great! No rash! Think it's because I've got thick hair so a man's razor cuts through it better

I use cheap supermarket disposables and find them much better than the expensive stuff. I do use shaving oil first.

"gillette mach 3 "

Gillette Mach 3 too.

It does everywhere except the bit under the bridge of my nose. The Missus uses Gillette female razor... that doesn't do the beard area.

There must be some differences but not realy studied it.

I hot wax it but in between sessions I use a Venus razor for maintenance.

thought men's would be too harsh but reading some of the comments maybe not.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I only ever used disposables once when I was away for a weekend and we were outdoors on Salisbury Plain. Never again.

I use Gillette Mach 3, as I find I get the best results. I shave slowly and try not to do it from unusual angles. It's a swine when you do get a cut and are in a rush because you have a meet.

not far from Brighton

Ive recently discovered its not just the razor its the shaving cream/oil u use..

Ive used triple blade disposables from 99p store for along time now but just make sure I use shaving oil or a branded shaving foam.. if the shaving cream/foam clogs up the blade it doesnt matter how expensive it was ur likely to cut urself.. Gillette shaving foam is good but oil is better and gives u better visibility on what ur shaving

Women's razors are more expensive.
