I,ve only ever seen a roost

Of bats once or twice leave their roost

And that was some pipistrelles that had

Decided to use the loft space or cavity

in a wall space where i stayed on holiday

Once, they all flew to the right followed a path then into wood land just as it was

Getting dark quite a sight. you could see

The black hills of wales in the distance

Beautiful scenery.

If you don't wake up immediately, a cat will lick your eyelids and breathe cat-food breath over your face.

Cat-farts can strip paint at a distance of nearly 50 metres.

A cat's claws are sharper at 3am.

Cats will turn down the poshest cat-food you can afford, but will eat 3 week-old bread that's been left out for the birds.

A 3-legged cat will not chase a mouse because it can't be arsed.

When an elephant runs it has the two rear legs touching the ground together, followed by a brief airborne glide, and then a landing on the two front legs.

So therefore this can be defined as running.

You have... Never having all the feet means that here will be some feet, eg one or two that are still on the ground, ergo all the feet aren't off the ground to define running. The definition is there will often be at least one foot on the ground and it is still running

Fairly certain that Dumbo was an animated story made by Disney, not a natural history documentary made by Sir David Attenborough.

"Elephants can not run.

They surely can Oh no they can not. A elephant has to have all four feet off the ground at the same time for it to be define as running and a elephant can not do that, so it is classed as walking.

That's not right. When horses run they don't have all 4 legs off the ground at the same time. They thought they did in the days before film.

Fact brought to you courtesy of my immense brain oh yes they do fact.

Oh no they don't *angry face*

When an elephant runs it has the two rear legs touching the ground together, followed by a brief airborne glide, and then a landing on the two front legs.

So therefore this can be defined as running.

Afraid not

So when elephants stampede its an optical illusion? They are really just walking and the ground moves fast? A elephant always has one foot touching the ground hence not running but can walk very fast around about 15mph For such a heavy animal that is

Some feat...

four feet surly "

Thats true..

"Definition if running:

Move at a speed faster than a walk, never having both or all the feet on the ground at the same time.

Very different from having no feet at all on the ground at some point Is not never having all the feet on the ground at the same time the same as having no feet at all on the ground at some point? Or have I missed something?

You have... Never having all the feet means that here will be some feet, eg one or two that are still on the ground, ergo all the feet aren't off the ground to define running. The definition is there will often be at least one foot on the ground and it is still running "

Yep I have got it now (banging head against wall). To be class as running all feet whether you have four or two must leave the ground at the same time other wise it is not running

google is split but she equine society says that are white with black stripes. because the stripes disappear towards the belly, the belly of the animal is on a most part white

Sheep definitely do bleat with regional accents.

An octopus can squeeze through any gap it can get its beak through.

Also in times of famine they will eat a limb. Only 'choosing' to grow it back in times of plenty.

Baboons suffer terribly with piles. They have no access to preparation H and the zoo keepers mock them by giving them tyres to swing on rather than the inner tubes to sit on. This is why they are so bad tempered and take out their frustrations on car wind-screen wipers and aerials.

Male sea-horses give birth. They impregnate the female, who passes on the fertilised eggs to the male to gestate. Keep it to yourself though, or questions will be asked why WE don't do it.
