"A blue whales heart is about the same size as a Mini (car not skirt)
its arteries are wide enough for a grown man to swim thru " That sounds almost prehistoric thou i would Imagine only other large whales like sperm whale would meet those sizes in organ lenght "what a way to cum"... ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

Although regarded as poisonous, Komodo dragons do not actually produce venom. The "venom" is actually the bacteria that lingers in their mouth from eating all sorts of nasty shit like rotting carcasses and waste. |

"When bats fly out of a cave in large numbers they fly to the right" I,ve only ever seen a roost
Of bats once or twice leave their roost
And that was some pipistrelles that had
Decided to use the loft space or cavity
in a wall space where i stayed on holiday
Once, they all flew to the right followed a path then into wood land just as it was
Getting dark quite a sight. you could see
The black hills of wales in the distance
Beautiful scenery. |

If you don't wake up immediately, a cat will lick your eyelids and breathe cat-food breath over your face.
Cat-farts can strip paint at a distance of nearly 50 metres.
A cat's claws are sharper at 3am.
Cats will turn down the poshest cat-food you can afford, but will eat 3 week-old bread that's been left out for the birds.
A 3-legged cat will not chase a mouse because it can't be arsed. |

"There are a million ants in the world for every human. Really glad I'm not the one who had to count them. " That must Involve Immense numbers
Of ants if they were all the same size as
a small terrier dog or tabby cat and could
Move the same speed they would take the planet over quite quickly not even the Terror lizards of the dinosaurs would of
stopped them and i,m sure man could,nt Either is best bet would to be on water
But still the flying ants to think about. |

If you tape a piece of toast to a cats back, butter side up the cat will levitate and spin indefinitely. This phenomenon is caused by the fact that toast always lands butter side down and cats always land on their feet! |

"Elephants can not run.
They surely can Oh no they can not. A elephant has to have all four feet off the ground at the same time for it to be define as running and a elephant can not do that, so it is classed as walking. "
That's not right. When horses run they don't have all 4 legs off the ground at the same time. They thought they did in the days before film.

When an elephant runs it has the two rear legs touching the ground together, followed by a brief airborne glide, and then a landing on the two front legs.
So therefore this can be defined as running.

Definition if running:
Move at a speed faster than a walk, never having both or all the feet on the ground at the same time.
Very different from having no feet at all on the ground at some point ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

"House flies are the only animal known to man that can enter a room via an open door or window but are then unable to 're-locate said entry method. Instead they repeatedly smash their face against an unopen pane of glass!" Well some of
The time that can happen but the truth is
where i sit i face an open door and this last week we have had blow flys comeing directly inside often they will fly in a
Straight line towards me and often by
Lifting my arms up and down they have Turned round and gone back out again Only to be followed by others Damn, by
Lifting yer arms up and down even if there not visible they can usually see
You and respond to yer movements but
often go straight out the door... ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

You have... Never having all the feet means that here will be some feet, eg one or two that are still on the ground, ergo all the feet aren't off the ground to define running. The definition is there will often be at least one foot on the ground and it is still running ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"Dogs bark in regional accents"
Sheep definitely do bleat with regional accents.
An octopus can squeeze through any gap it can get its beak through.
Also in times of famine they will eat a limb. Only 'choosing' to grow it back in times of plenty. |

Baboons suffer terribly with piles. They have no access to preparation H and the zoo keepers mock them by giving them tyres to swing on rather than the inner tubes to sit on. This is why they are so bad tempered and take out their frustrations on car wind-screen wipers and aerials. |

"Butterflies are just flamboyant moth's "
You've got that arse about face. Moths are the beige cardigan wearing dullard cousins of butterflys. They are even so stupid as to live in the dark, and yet be confused by any light that isn't the moon. Fuckwits of the insect world. |

"Worms are transexuals and so are sea horses or something like that"
Male sea-horses give birth. They impregnate the female, who passes on the fertilised eggs to the male to gestate. Keep it to yourself though, or questions will be asked why WE don't do it. |
