Straight up and say, "Sorry, however, it is unlikely for me to take it further, as you are not my type, and I do not feel any sparks between us." etc...

Honestly? Well the best thing to do is say there isn't a spark physically. Tell them you enjoy their company and say thanks and goodnight. |

Serious answer to your original question?
Honesty works best - I... we would just say something like we had a lovely evening/ chat or whatever we had but we dont feel the chemistry is right.
Most people are totally ok with that as it is honest and not offensive. |
