many years ago with first wife we had a active swinging life, when kids family etc. aloud us to.
I had a friend that had become single and for bit fun my wife played up to him see how far he would take it , they ended up in bed , he had no idea it was with my full approval , after few times she told him I new and it became a 3 some this went on till it naturally ended when he got new girl friend.
move on several year he finished with this lady, I new her as a normal friend one day I had to help her move some stuff , we were chatting having a laugh about things I let it slip about seeing some nice pics off her on his phone. she when on to tell me she wanted to try swinging or a 3 some he would not do it. he was happy to go with someone's wife but would not let his partner do the same, how many people are like that want to swing but not let there partner do the same |

Judging by past posts there are a few singles men/ woman who state they wouldnt swing if they found Mr or Mrs right ... Yet are also many established couples who have the deep bond that makes swinging possible for them to share and be very enjoyable too!
Many will have their own interpretation of swinging which fits into their own way of thinking... Don't really think there is a right or wrong way to look at/ judge it ... As long as whoever , gets out if it all they crave , its all good!   |

Me either to be honest. There's no 'fair' in this life, it's not a 'you tried mine so I get to try yours' situation.
You chose to involve him in your relationship and he has the right not to choose to involve you in theirs.
Of course if he is still wanting threesomes with you while he.is with her then that's a different matter lol |

Its very common.
I know quite a few couples where they will have a female join in, and he can do anything with her, but no other males. I've actually been told that no other guy is getting my missus! on more than one occasion.
Sharing a partner can raise a whole tumult of emotions, and if you are not sure, its not worth risking a relationship over. |

Very telling. You say he was happy to go with 'someone's wife' As if she is YOURS and not HER OWN.
You say that he didn't want to let HIS partner be shared.
It's NOT the same is it ?
In the first scenario he has no woman till he shares.
In the second he has a woman and doesn't need to share. |

The key phrase is "it naturally ended when he got new girl friend". If he remained faithful throughout that relationship then he was true to that relationship. Whether he had played with couples before of afterwards is irrelevant. They set their rules of engagement and stuck with them. The relationship didn't last and he was bright enough to realize that throwing swinging into the mix wasn't going to change anything. As I see it, he has done nothing wrong. |
