it was only his pay off that was keeping him at the club .has made some dreadfull buys last term and liverpool as a team were as bad as i'd ever seen was like back in the days when souness was in charge.hope they get a decent manager now |

As an Evertonian, I'm absolutely gutter Benitez has gone. Nobody has destroyed a good side any more efficiently than the fat Spanish waiter.
He took over a developing side from Houillier, then lived off the Frenchies side in his first season by winning the Champions League. Ever since then he's conspired to destroy Liverpool.
Fans are unbelievably stupid about Benitez too. He's spent more than Manchester United during his reign, yet the fans blame the club owners for the failure!
So yea, sad that Benitez has gone. Can only hope they get someone in who is equally as inept as a manager! |
