I've been into Cheltenham shopping today. I know it's hot, but what's with all the guys wandering around the shops with no tops on! It's hard to concentrate on my purchases with naked torso's going past. No wonder I spent so much.  |

We were in a fairly posh restaurant last summer and a bloke walked in topless. He was one of those muscley types. The staff asked him to put a top on and he caused a bit of a stink. Then he put on a ridiculous vest. He was then asked to leave. How on earth did he think it was acceptable, you wouldn't expect to see topless men in a greasy spoon let alone a poshie. |

I agree even worse when they have the cheap looking tattoos which look like they were done in prison. |

I go topless in the local Tesco then wait till the pay me to leave as Im putting off the other customers from buying food.
Its halved my weekly shopping bill. |

I know I belong to another era but I think in public men should never be topless....in my youth even sleeveless was frowned upon. Short sleeves at the very least. Just off to iron my lacy bloomers and crinoline ....   |

If this had been a woman thread and the same were to be said about tummy legs cleavage ? Often we may regard the numerous social conventions as misguided guidance
If i feel comfortable I would go topless if I'm made to feel uncomfortable I go dressed x if I'm really made to feel really uncomfortable I may continue semi clad x I also walk bare foot |

Yes John is in his shorts flip flops (tasteful ones lol!) from March to October as we live by the sea & its acceptable here too. |

On holiday ill walk about topless but have a top with me to put on if I'm going in a shop or bar. I would never walk around the shops here with out a top on. If it's that hot I'd just stick a vest on. When I'm at work though and it's roasting that's a different matter. (I work in construction so outside all the time)
I think it's dirty and disrespectful for people to be walking round shops with there moobs hanging out. |
