£300 pounds to spend

Only you know of there's something you actually want?
Failing that send it here so I can use it to replace my friends little girls iPad that was stolen while she's been stuck in hospital for weeks. |

"I think o p trying to brag he has money or pretends to have rather immature as other posts have been about money."
Yes but only works if the amount is worth talking about and if its a high figure then it still has same effect not intrested in what he spends it on |

It's nothing to you. It's not nothing to the majority of people on the planet.
I always though rich people were a bit discreet about their wads of cash. Not on here apparently. How very nouveau riche |

Buy some art. Or anything that you wouldn't normally buy that keeps value, so when you've got less money one day, you can get reminders of having it
£300 isn't a lot really, fair bit less than the uk average weekly wage, so I'm sure you're not attention seeking. Although maybe you're lacking ideas on what to spend it on, strange.
I'd donate it if you don't need it - just make sure you get your money's worth. |

If its cash you don't know what to do with - give it to a local small charity... a food bank, a family centre, a disabled support charity. Might not be much to you but can make the world of difference to a lot of people. |

It is a european flight cost and perhaps a bit left for hotels. Have a quick get away planned. Or invest in club membership and going out. You know your interests and pleasures, so focus on them. If you have nothing for emergencies, save it. |

You're talking about a family excursion. The OP is talking about just him. Not the same thing really. |

"I got a thread going on best 3 clubs people taking time to reply on that but negative stuff people reply straight away.
Nearly 15 mins 25 plus replys to this."
I wouldn't say negative so much but it's a daft question to ask as we don't know you or what you like so how can we tell you what to spend £300 on. It does come across as bragging a bit tbh. I might not be but does seem that way. |

Negative stuff? People just see it as boastful. If i had £300 spare, I'd spoil my weeman (5 yr old) to a fun break away somewhere. Sadly as a single mum, thats not possible (even though I do work) |

Not forgetting to also take a packed lunch with you. "
We got the taster menu. Great way to spend the afternoon but it was painful when they bill came. Nice gardens too. |

"I've just found 31p on my kitchen side I'm off over the shop anyone wanna go halves on a kit-Kat?? "
31p wouldn't get you two fingers in my shop
Local independent/corner shop is selling Freddos for 50p!!
Maybe he needs to spend it because he has a Brewsters Millions style challenge |

"This tread beengoing 46 mins and 47 replys thats 1 every min since it stated.
Talk about money everyone replys lol
" the reason the thread has 47 replys in 46 minutes is down to something money cant buy,and that is the nature of people to make the best of uninspiring situations. |

My mrs earns £61 a week looking after her mum 24 -7 , well below min wage and I work full time plus overtime and at the end of the month we are lucky to have 300 pence over but at least we are happy and make the most of what little we have . Wouldn't change anything if it meant we were not happy . Enjoy spending it the way it makes you happy |

"On what or where can i spend £300 today.
I'm an expensive lady, not sure £300 will be enough
Use it to buy a higher garden fence
Touche "
The law only allows for a 6ft max height. even if you broke the height limit i have the tools to drill a spy hole

Consider the possibility that there will be some people in the forum who are struggling on low paid work and high bills. The last thing they wanna read about is someone who can just go out and blow £300 without guilt. That would go a long way to a family on a low income so try to be a little more sensitive with your money posts. |

If you really need be asking rubbish like that here I suggest the best use of your money would be
CHARITABLE.....
at least they need it (doesnt sound like you do)
and at least they`d use it wisely (doesnt sound like you do)
If your post is in the least bit serious , help others less fortunate then you.. |

take your parents for a nice meal and share the joy of having money . money can pay for the finer things in life but dont boast about money as its off putting and makes you come across as up your own ass. |

If you had phrased the question differently there would have been a better response. For example -
"If you suddenly had £300, what would you spend it on?"
Hope you found something nice to spend it on. |

Save it, you might not need anything now but you never know whats around the next bend, Its a struggle for me but i have a standing order of £25 a week go into my credit union savings it don't sound much but it adds up at the end of the year and if anything breaks like washing machine if i can't fix it i can buy a new one |

Why is there so much bitterness in this thread?
I took it as a theoretical question, but even if it wasn't, so what? For the record, I would sod off to Paris on the Eurostar for the night, have dinner and travel home in the wee hours of Sunday morning |
