Newcastle and Gateshead

I once had the pleasure of sitting with my down with my mum and watching "team america world police".....

as good as it is... trying to explain why "puppet sex" was so funny is something I don't think I could ever do again....

no as bad as my sister, who had the ordeal of watching pulp fiction with my near 80 yr old gran..... I not sure who was more scarred by that experience....

so have you ever watched a film with family members and then wished you hadnt... or had been really awkward????

discuss.....

I think it was mostly really tame tv programmes that made everyone uncomfortable.

I think some of the scenes in Trueblood and GOT would be a tad awkward.

Had a girl around my family home one night while my parents were out...I thought '9 and a 1/2 weeks' would be a good film to put on...I was young!!

Anyway, it gets late and we get to the good bits...then I hear that 'key in the door' noise that we all know as kids. Too late to turn it off...Mickey going at it on the Tv, girl with me bright red hiding under her coat, dad with a smirk on his face looking proud of me and my mum a different shade of red (the kick your arse type!)

She wasn't bothered. There hasn't been as much sex from the second season, but I still don't watch it with her. In that first episode I remember a woman hanging from her wrists gettin' fucked by a vampire, at vampire speed. I was appearing to not be fussed whilst in my head I was mortified.

I felt awkward during the buggery scene in pulp fiction. The crazy song playing in the background made it sort of funny though (not that rape is funny)

The bit with the shower head in 40 year old virgin (i think)... My step brother turned it off cos he didn't want me and his sister to see it. We were about 12, and him 15.

Borat - my husband bought it for by brother for Christmas and did warn him but nonetheless my brother popped it on in the company of his mother in law.

The wrestling scene on the bed resulted in a very loooong silence

That series Spartacus was a bit awkward to watch with my dad (we did the box set in a marathon 4 day sword and sandle fest) it would be all fighting one moment, then cut to a big fella shagging the ass off some little lad... "off to make a coffee dad, you want one?" lol

We watched filth not knowing anything about the film...just thinking it was called filth because he was a bent cop. No no no, oh how I was wrong. The watching experience was just full of awkward moments of not making eye contact... the film is however great either way!!

By don't watch with parents I assume you mean your parents, and that you're not a parentist.

That scene is shockingly hilarious! In fact there's a guy in my area that regularly posts pics of him and another guy wrestling; whenever I see them at it, it reminds me of that scene
