Gorgeously toned bodies in skimpy outfits on the beaches or men topless around town centres or women in bikini tops n short skirts.
But part of me would think the reaction would soon change if it were large framed (dare i use the word fat) people wearing the same outfits.
Of course its down to an individual what they feel comfortable and confident wearing in public |

I often cringe when I see short shorts or short skirts going up to the higher end of the plus size scale. Personally I won't wear anything shorter than 2 inches above my knees without leggings underneath as I wouldn't want to offend anyone with my lumpy thighs. Just makes me wonder who wears denim hotpants in a size 32?! |

to be honest I get more of a bad reaction (from mainly guys) if I was walking around town with my top off than an average or overweight does.
ive had guys shouting over things like "stead head and juice monkey" a fair few times and things like "put ya top on ya poser, proper up ya own arse".
I'll only have my top off these days when im in my own garden or on holiday at a beach.

Just goes to show. You really can't please all the people all the time.
Personally I think if they feel confident in it then why not? No matter what size or shape. It's only really their own opinion that matters in the end. Not mine a stranger to them. |

Did anyone see the naturist documentary on telly a few months ago where a guy and a girl (both slim) went topless in a busy city centre to hand out leaflets for a naturist event. It was'nt long before the police arrived and told the woman to cover up and put a top on but they totally ignored the topless man as no one had complained about him?
The woman said it was sexual discrimination and if he is topless why can't i do it? |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"I see nothing wrong with it myself. People shouldn't be judgemental "
Indeed.
What is it with the clothes and body fascisti? Women in Burkhas - wrong? Fat people in short/skimpy clothes - wrong?
We don't have laws inhibiting what we can wear in this country (bar covering up your genitals) so if someone wants to wear a clown-suit to do their weekly shop then that is their choice.
My only objection is topless in supermarkets and food shops as it makes me feel uneasy around the food I might want to eat.

I get strange looks wearing slippers to the local shops, bloody conformists!
I think people should wear what they feel comfortable in, and not dictate fashion to others!
If you don't like, look the other way |

No it doesn't matter what size someone is. Bigger people can do those things too. Of course I will point and laugh though only joking |

London
The way I see it, we'll use the big girl in a mini skirt example, do I think it looks nice? No.... But that's my problem not hers, as long as she is happy and confident then why shouldn't she wear what she wants. Good luck to 'em!

I'm all for people should be able to wear what they comfortable in, but there is a thing called decorum. I work in a petrol station and I do feel it's not right for a man to come inside the kiosk topless in summer - good body or not. I don't want to see a stale sweaty, hairy chest in my workplace where we sell food and hot drinks, as well as petrol.
Sorry, but there is a time or place like on a beach or in their garden.

"Dress for the body you have, not the one you wish you had..... My grandmothers advice x"
Exactly this. Everyone can be sexy but they should accentuate their own unique charm and not try chasing the tail of something they're just never gonna catch up with. A wise granny
Oh and btw...in your own house...you can dress just exactly how the fuck you want lol granny's advice simply doesn't apply there...I'm only talking about when you're out trying to dress to impress then granny's spot on the money |

Just seen your profile. Can't imagine why anyone would think you're a poser. |
