My hanging baskets are looking lovely this morning. This is not a hideous euphemism .

Anything of yours looking particularly fetching today?

Ok thank you. We've got a climber growing over the pergola (posh eh ) with beautiful, highly, scented pink roses, mixed with the Jasmine it's a very sensual combination in the evenings.

Shocking pink with thin navy blue and white horizontal stripes. M&S Blue Harbour.

I'm recording a cover version of Thunder Road for a friend who used to be on here. I have nailed the piano part and just need sax and vocals now. It's not looking good but I am well chuffed with the sound!

My veg patch is amazing...I'll have salad throughout summer at this rate complimented by beautiful lupins to sit with whilst I eat.

I'm looking forward to reclaiming my garden from my ex and getting it back to its former glory. My Ceanothus blew over and my son refused to let him dig it up. He said it's part of his childhood and will save it

I love lupins but have never yet managed to grow them, they always get eaten by slugs. I grow rocket, little gem and salad leaves, saves a fortune doesn't it. I had high hopes for sweetcorn but since only seven have germinated I think the green giant can heave a sigh of relief.

I've made a violin from scratch (not just assembled a kit).

It is hanging up in my bedroom (my make-do workshop). It is looking particularly fetching even if I say so myself!

I shall start the French polishing process this evening when watching the football.

My clematis has a mass of flowers, lilies have plenty of flowers too. A rose bush that has never produced flowers has 10 this year. The peas are nice straight from the plant, carrots shouldn't be too long now and our potatoes are in flower. So things are looking good up here.

I wonder of the wet winter encouraged the rose to flower.

I play guitar but I'm going to have a few lessons on the violin.

Hope to build a guitar next, thought I'd start with the smaller instrument before buying the wood for the guitar.

Grow more rocket to discourage the slugs - they don't like it. Just let it run to seed as a companion plant around the lupins.

My strawberries are looking good, they're still green but they are plumping up nicely and there are lots if them.

Now you mention it my rocket does get left alone, I'll try that thanks.

I've got loads of raspberries ripening and there must be a syringa nearby I can smell it on the breeze.

I'm currently channelling the seventies sitting in the garden in cut down Levis and a bikini top lol.

I have a friend who grows lots of fruit and I raided his garden yesterday, the first of the raspberries are going to be cordial and I picked up some strawbs to combine with the huge pile of rhubarb I pulled to make jam.

If there's any rhubarb left over I'll bottle it to eat with yogurt or to fill pies
