Anyone here do their own home-brew?

I fancy having a crack at doing some cider and then some bitter/ale.

Easy way to do cider apple juice tesco and some yeast can even do it with bread.

We used to go to the homebrew shop near us. Wilkos usedvto sell a starter kit for around 50 quid

Moonshine do a bag that you add water and the supplied yeast packet to, wait for 2 weeks and then consume. One bag makes 25 pints. I have no connection with the company.

started doing my own a few weeks ago ,first batch ready to drink and tastes good. Packet mix and my own turbo cider which has come out at 8%

I'm not bothered about the strength really. as long as its palatable that'll do for me

I make homebrew wine ..comes in a bag..(grape juice) add yeast and after 2weeks you stop the brewing with another additive ..tastes grand and is 13%...would love to know what way to get a good cider going

I have 3 pressure barrels and usually have a couple on the go. Cider is my weapon oc choice, but at xmas I do a bitter and a lager as well

Elder flower champagne is tops you dont need much equipment to start home brewing. i havnt done any in ages but its a plan for this year. A hydrometer is a good investment and cheaper now than when i bought mine.
