A wooly mobile phone case that my nan knitted as an experiment. She wasn't pleased with the result but asked if I wanted it which I did. My nan died in December and that little wooly thing goes everywhere with me so that I always have a little bit of that most precious person with me. |

"My Missus. I've had her for 34yrs now And she's very lovely, she deserves a medal."
Cheaky bugger, I'll have you know they're planning to erect a statue of me on Brierley Hill High Street in recognition of my sacrifices over the last three decades |

Why on earth keep her knickers? "
It's a family thing
Dad also has some postcards from the WW1 trenches that were sent home from the front by his grandad to his mum.
I have put dibs on them |

Cheaky bugger, I'll have you know they're planning to erect a statue of me on Brierley Hill High Street in recognition of my sacrifices over the last three decades " The High Street street needs some improvement, as the shopping centre nearby has decimated it, which is a real crime, as I prefer real shopping streets. My treasure is not that street, but some palm plants that I grew from seed, any my other palm trees collection, all outdoors. And a horse chestnut tree I planted when I was 11. That conker is now a young adult tree, something for future generations and wild life to enjoy. |

Memories. What else truly matters?
Recall a memory and live that moment over & over...

A tiny replica cannon (non working I hasten to add) that was crafted by the team of apprentices that worked for my Grandad. They presented it to him when he retired. I remember how moved he was. |

My nan's first wedding ring, its a slim slither of gold that my grandad bought my nan when they got married before he went off to fight in the war, upon his return and some years later grandad bought nan a much larger band of gold, however nan never took off the original and wore it side by side with the newer model, she gave it to me shortly before she died 25 years ago, it is always with me always.

My original leather motorcycle jacket, wore it for 30 years, replaced it a few years ago as it wouldn't take a lot to rip the leather these days, but couldn't part with it. |
