First time I went to a club I went with a female friend I met on here. Definitely helped to have someone more experienced there.
I've since been with male FBs and had great experiences. |

I think it does help to go with someone you know and feel comfortable with. Perhaps just go with the intention of having a look around and feeling comfortable rather than playing…although if the mood strikes, and it usually does, there's always fun to be had.

I think as long as you choose the right place for you then you dont absolutely need a companion. As mentioned earlier, best thing is to go in for fact finding and to chill, maybe have a drink, depending on the place. Ive always found each club to be friendly and welcoming, and people will be chatty, especially if you tell them its your first time. You have nothing to lose and probably loads to gain. Any play is optional and I always go not expecting it, but invariably get offers and likely to play. But my goal is a trip out, relax and enjoy the company. Good luck! |
