Unlikely to become a major Motion Picture

Think of the most unlikely Tv candidate to be developed into a major Hollywood blockbuster

Mine is Last of the Summer Wine.

I can picture some exec in LA, seeing UK Gold and being bowled over by current events in Yorkshire and snapping up the rights to the show. He'd relocated to San Francisco and would recast it.

Compo - Nick Cage

Cleg - Vin Diesel

Foggy - David Duchovny

Nora Batty - Madonna

Sid - Tom Hanks

Wally - Hafpor Julius Bjornsson

However, that is when they run out of money and find they have to recycle and old script and the film ends with Nick Cage being pushed down a huge hill in a tin bath...

It's just something I was pondering whilst taking the dog for a walk.

What does everyone else think is unlikely to make the transition from telly to big screen?
