That's because the foot slides downwards as they are wearing a heel. Not because the shoe is to big.
Next time you put a shoe on push your foot inside the shoe as much as you can, you'll have a gap |

That's because some of us have half size feet and most shoes come in whole sizes. I've either got to round down or up to buy off the peg shoes. Plus I have skinny ankles, which exacerbates the situation. |

Its what you get when you have a hand me down economy, when the older sister, richer friend or donor has over stretched them, with their elephant like limbs, compared to your dainty little numbers. Feet change size too, so what fits well sometimes may be a little spacious at others. Im not wasting money on shoes that aint gonna fit, Id not wear them. |

There was me expecting the whole "lying about your weight" thing. - I'm sure that happens more than women buying shoes that are too small for them...
I've certainly never bought shoes that are too small. I quite enjoy being able to walk pain-free!
