The Loom Bands thread got me thinking about crazes at school. We only had a few that went round the schools I went to. The big one being a big outbreak of getting one lad to crawl behind another, making an obstacle, which you then shoved the other chap over, to much hilarity.

We imitated our teachers voices and mannerisms whenever a class started. 'Good morning children' Their accents, intonation etc were gradually mimiced really well by us. The boys mainly also got another lad to walk between a few of them sitting on tables. They then got kicked from both sides and must have had awful bruises later. We also had an outdoors swimming pool, and a fair few got pushed in over lunch or after school, fully clothed of course. |

Hmmm let's see we had clackers, top trumps, jacks, hopscotch, pea shooters, conkers, marbles, cards in the spokes on your bikes, god the list could go on ahh the fun we had back in the day lol |

Marbles, Yo-yo's and Conkers (did anyone soak theirs in vinegar?), giving wedgies or peachies, lol, one lad got group wedgied so hard his head hit the classroom ceiling and his pants ripped in half.   |
