This is one of 2 hens - there's another hen sitting one another load of eggs too, about 2 weeks from hatching. They are very cute until they get big and noisy and start shitting everywhere! |

Hmmm I see. No problem we can get around that - we will send mamma hen too! The cat would not be a problem once mamma hen gives it a little peck on its nose!!! |

You can stop the cockrels crowing too early in the morning. You just have to make him a separate sleeping box in the shed. The box has to be low enough that he can't stretch his neck up, then he can't crow. You can then let him out at a time that crowing is acceptable. |

They do shit a lot, don't they? Beautiful creatures and great personalities, though.
