I have some friends whose grown up kids live at home and don't lift a finger to help, they never ever say anything to the kids just moan to their friends about them. Not everyones as smart as you though are they. "'smart', strange thing to say.. no, not at all.. hard work, love, support etc .. and an understanding that whilst they are your kids and you will love them eternally that you as their parents have responsibility to get it right.. they wont be perfect as guess what neither are 'we', but they wont be the type of person that acts either selfishly or otherwise to such a point where we as their parents would 'moan' about them to others.. | |||

Our kids weren't angels they still aren't but if they did something wrong we tried to sort it out with them rather than say nothing and run them down behind their backs. Of course we all have a bit of a moan when we've had to get out of bed at 2 am to pick them up when they're stranded but I don't mean that. | |||
