Has anyone bought one? There is one on Gumtree for sale £50.00 round the corner, in 2 minds to buy it.. its powered by mains but if its that cheap does it mean it will be crap? I thought they all did the same job? its pro-form?

Sorry dude.... Not quite what you asked but....

I bought an elliptical /cross trainer off gumtree

Bloody brilliant bit of kit

ZERO impact and gets me sweating like a bastard...

Lost nearly 3kg using it (and diet)....plus increased stamina (always a good thing)

Best bit of kit I've purchased.... Was about £120 though... But is almost gym quality...

My better half bought a treadmill......waste of money and was re-punted on eBay....

Htt

Thanks, much appreciated. Was the treadmill a waste because it wasn't used or was it in bad shape? I love running on treadmills but really cant be bothered visiting a gym everyday lol

That's low cost. Running outside even cheaper... the floor just moves even without mains power!

Bought one myself for about 300 and it is a quality one but £50 sounds like it was a cheap one when first bought so I would stay away myself..

East midlands

I bought one from that "auction site"

It was £50 and worth every penny. The same one would've cost £300 originally.

Ah sorry...should have said

It was from a gym so it was bloody huge lol

Just didn't get used...nothing wrong with it per say

I think second hand is a brill way to go...then you get gym quality equipment at sensible prices

I use the cross trainer most days n watch TV etc... Quick shower n bobs yer whatsit....

I wouldn't go to a gym....at least long term.
