Does anyone ever miss the one that got away?. I remember having a girlfriend in school for 4+ years and lately I've been thinking about her for some unknown reason . She is now maried with a child . Is it All in the past or is that what I want?????   |

A mate took me fishing for my first time about 6 weeks ago, got a bite. That really is the only one that got away I think about lol
But.. as life... I think its all 'que sera sera'
when I was 16, I met the first 'love of my life'.. we spent 3 years together.
Fast forward over 15 years, and we met and hooked up again...
suffice to say, the moment was definitely best left in the past.. as happy memories

We all have a one that got away.
Do you envisage yourself with her, married with a child?
It's hard to get over someone you loved, but you are only 25. Me telling you to forget her isn't going to make you stop thinking what you are but the truth is there you need to move on like she did.
It's strange, I hear this more and more from guys these days than from women. |

Yeah the more I think about it I do . I can see myself being there. Chance missed or chance gained . Only time will tell |

You can't change anything so that is irrelevant. Chance gain - chance gained to go and meet someone else when you are better prepared. |

I think some things are of the time. We change, our needs change as well as what we can naturally give. A guy came over to me at a packed bar and told me I was the most beautiful person there a few years ago. Wasnt sure if cheesy chat up, a joke as he was drop dead handsome, or genuine. We had a fling and circumstances moved us a couple of thousand miles apart. Have considered reconnecting, but thinking it was perhaps of its time. But boy would I love his adoration again. |
