Seeing, as today is the day that it all kicks-off.

I decided to start a thread, where people could put views on anything & everything dealing with World Cup Brasil 2014.

My Final Four is...

Argentina, Ghana, England & Chile.

The best France, had ever done until winning it in '98 where two Semi-Finals.

Also, who could believe that Greece defeated hosts Portugal not only in the Opening Game but in the Final to win the Euro's...!!!

I bet they are still in shock about that one in Lisbon.

Can't see England getting out their group...first game is vital unless they get smashed against C. Rica because Uruguay will look real good against us that's a given!

True but ghana have Portugal, Germany and the USA in their group. Not exactly easy. If they don't finish bottom, I will be gobsmacked

And of course Denmark who didn't even qualify for Euro '92 and went on to win the competition. One for misscheekychops.

No I really not too concerned with group. We will get the draw against Italy. Costa Rica are actually pretty poor and Uruguay only have a good strike force. Rest of players are quite old and really slow. They will struggle against us. But we will see.

Argentina V Brazil final. Brazil to win, their only concern is a lack of a striker.

England will be lucky to get out of their group. If they do, they will be beaten in the next round.

Of the European sides, I can see Germany, Spain and Belgium having a good World Cup.

It'll be interesting to see if Being at home will be an advantage or a hindrance for Brazil. Their fans can turn against them very quickly.

Positive thinking is good to see, most commendable. But I seriously cannot see Ghana escaping the Group of Death. Be prepared for a torrid time

I don't think either Brazil or Argentina will win. Also Brazil have Fred who is a very consistent goal scorer.

I think Germany will win it.

brazil have a tough route to the final as they will have to play either spain or holland after the group stages .. england will have to come 1st in the group to avoid playing the winner of that game then theres the possibilty of france or germany in the semis if all games go to plan

Aha I'm sorry, dude. It's nothing against Ghanians, I just don't think they're as good as four other teams in the tournament, that's all. You've got a very good squad and I wouldn't be surprised if you got to the quarters (if you get out of the Group of Death), but the final four will just prove a little too much, I think.

Ghana are priced 330 on Betfair Exchange...I'd take a punt on that and then sell it back at semi final stage if anyone agrees with OP.

Conditions should suit a South American team, history tells us that. Brazil or Argentina for me, although I will concede that Germany and Spain can't be written off either.

Dark horses are Columbia, Belgium, and possibly Uruguay at England's / Italy's expense!

Agree with that exactly. I do think columbia and Switzerland will have good tournerments. I think columbia will face England in next round and winners play Brazil in quarters. Argentina have Messi aguerro Di maria and co. Best team in comp. Final 4 to be. Brazil vs Germany and Spain vs Argentina. Germany and Argentina have easy runs until semi's.

But Brazil have really hard run. Probably Holland in next round, columbia or England in quarter's, Germany in semi and Argentina or Spain in final. Really hard. I tip Argentina who have very simple run until semi

Spray Cans, Drinks Breaks if its above 32c, goal line technology, stadium announcements confirming if the ball crossed the line 10 mins previous - football has come a long way.

Oh no, still got dodgy refs and players cheating. The players didnt help, why set some fucking doves off and then kick lumps and dive.

Its time to bring yellow cards in via video panel after the game, that will help stop it.

I still don't think Holland are good enough to make it to the final, or even the final four. I think they just proved that the era of La Roja is dead.

After yesterday's disaster, any team playing Brasil have to play against twelve, if not 15 men, if you're counting the other officials.
