"Hey who has public pics of them dressed up for a night out? Just fancy a perve. Like big hair, short dress, high heels, fake tan and fake nails "
I prefer classy than tarty on a night out. Don't do fake tan, rarely fake nails, and sometimes big hair if my mate can help me - otherwise sleek and sexy. |

I always have false nails and big hair, but the fake tan can bugger off. As can the short skirts (I don't have the right kind of thighs) pencil skirts and retro dresses are the order or the day here. |

You might not need fake body parts but some people look much better with them |

would agree with this, certainly don't attribute the term classy with some of the examples given..
tacky would possibly be my one word but recognise each to their own.. |

You can still have classic style of dress and be understated with fake hair, nails, tan, teeth etc. All celeb's have fake everything. |

Actually Pretty Woman was a very good example of the two type of dress - they got her come very classy outfits for the 'after'. Classy is often much less overtly sexual, I accept that. |

Yes, but I do not consider 'celebs' to be classy per se for that very reason, they are eventually all pushed into increasing fakery to maintain their image. |

A good dress, nice shoes/boots, nothing standing out as not belonging in the set up and this set up being in the right place at the right time |

If someone offered you free transformation where you could select any procedures or beauty products for free, you would do it though right? I think everyone would if money wasn't concern. I am a guy but I would have fake teeth, hair transplant, personal trainer, regular waxing, eat best healthy foods and vits if money was not issue |

Mostly they are people who's names you or a would not necessarily know. I have worked for members of the aristocracy who were effortlessly classy in everything they did, even in the pouring rain in a field full of mud.
I think some of the modern British film actresses are actually, but I am so not into the celebrity culture I don't know half their names.
But in the old classic movie stars it would be Audrey Hepburn vs Diana Dors I guess, that kind of contrast? Grace Kelly rather than Bardot maybe? Most men would rather bed Bardot for sure, I am not disputing that. |

Come on you would have more then that. What about skin laser to freshen face, laser hair removal, liposuction etc loads of treatments to consider. Not saying you need any of those. Just examples |

Sure, I would just use a different adjective is all - they might say they look amazing or sexy or beautiful because of it. I am using the traditional dictionary definition:
class·y
of high class, rank, or grade; stylish; admirably smart; elegant.
It applies also to behaviour, character etc. too. You might think David Beckham is hot as hell, innovative, stylish, but Nigel Havers for instance has way more class (sorry can't think of a young equivalent). |

Not sure about that! Skirts up to their backsides and fake tan does nothing for me.
Classy is the look, and there are plenty of younger classy ladies out there. Although my preference is for classy mature! |

I occasionally wear fake nails. Never use fake tan, nor do I use a sun bed. I occasionally wear a little make up, but not loads. And I don't have big back combed hair, however, in a few weeks time my hair will be purple and blue.
If I had the option of any treatment available to me, I'd have laser eye treatment, so I don't have to wear contacts, but that's it.
As for TOWIE etc being classy, nah, trashy and a bit dense, but certainly not classy, just more money then sense.

'celebs' are hardly a part of most peoples actual lives (apart from those who fawn, buy hello etc). They are hardly a barometer for what is class which again is subjective..

Fake tan is one of our biggest turn-offs. At best it tends to look a bit streaky, at its worst they look like they've been dipped in creosote.
A nice sexy dress and heels look fab, false nails can look great if done well.
Make-up if done right to enhance a woman's natural beauty is lovely, but so many do it horribly wrong and look like they've repeatedly mashed their face in varying paintpots of some horrific colours!
Hair also looks great when styled well, but its not attractive if it looks like you've stood rubbing a balloon on your head for half an hour then saturated it with hairspray! |

At 10.00am, and spend the bloody day in rollers but then I'm not your stereotypical scouse. Must say though... You can't generalise, many spend their day in their jim jams at the park. |

Yeah you know which ones I am talking about. Put rollers on, go out shopping etc in them just so they can take them off end of day for night out and have big hair. A for effort. |

I have to admit I am your stereotypical scouse girl.
I tan both sunbed and fake, do my nails, although they are real but long. I have highlights and get my hair blown once a week in the hairdressers. I wouldn't dream of going out the house without make up. Get waxed every 4 weeks. I also use collagen beds etc etc so basically the full works!
I also always try and dress smart too. Some people may call me vain but I don't care I do it for myself. If you look good you feel good! |

No sweetie. Think you should read my post I don't have fake nails! I also said I am a sterotypical scouse girl and proud. That certainly does not make me a bimbo in your words who's nagatively labelling there???
I didn't say we are all like that you claimed that look is "trashy" who's claws are out not mine.... I'm not trashy thank you very much. Just because I take care in my appearance doesn't mean you can label me like that.
Don't see the girls of many other cities getting huge spreads in Vogue magazine promoting the look like we got a la the "Liverpool Look" I'm pretty sure Vouge doesn't do "trashy".
Would be interested to know if you are a proper scouser ie born and breed in the L postcode like I am? Normally as a general rule us scousers tend to stick together...... |

Sorry, I have never worn fake tan. I don't really do short skirts either, I like to leave my underwear to the imagination unless I choose to let some see it. As for fake nails I wore them once 15 years ago to cure me of my nail biting and haven't worn them since. And I only have big hair if it's been up all day.
I still think I scrub up well for a night out. Just not in an apparently sexy way! |

What a thread!
I prefer to make the best of what I have without augmentation.
As to the hypothetical money no object and have whatever you want done I'd have my teeth polished more often, hair cut more often and massage every day. I'd have a trainer to encourage me to do more exercise. That's it.

I'm sure there are some ladies on here that fit that criteria.
I think I'm the complete opposite but still look pretty hot in a pair of skinny jeans & sandals... |

"Sorry, I have never worn fake tan.
Just not in an apparently sexy way!"
You made my bang list once remember lol. So you do obviously dress in sexy way. My point was I like women who look after themselves and try to look their best. These days there are so many ways to do that and people use them. I like that. I am not talking about Jordan look a likes. You can have fake teeth, hair extensions, fake nails, tan etc and still look really nice in my opinion. Like I said before, most celebrities use these methods and look great. People on the street are starting to as well. And liverpudlians are leading the way. |

A friend of mine had fake nails done before she went to Benidorm for a week. She went to the salon glammed up, but in drab mode to have them removed when she returned. It was only when she took her hands out of her pockets that the girl in the salon realised who she was. |

Awwwww imposing yourself on others for your own gratification. Seediness at it's most potent.
Good luck!! "

"I read that liverpudlians spend three time the national average per capita on health and beauty treatments. They also have 6 times the national average in terms of tanning salons in Liverpool. Scouse women know how to look good.
Well coming from there i can believe that but the look is NOT classy. It's trashy. Identikit Jordan lookalikes. Mmmmmmm pure class! Not all scouse women are like this OP. Classic example of talking bullshit from the other end of the country.
See you missed the Scouse solidarity lessons! Also see you have North West not Liverpool on profile and are 20 miles away from me (I'm actually in/from Liverpool)
Think it might be you talking bullshit......
No sweetie. You missed my point! We are not all bimbos with false hair, nails etc. (looks at self in mirror and thinks of friends in the real world) Maybe you live up to the stereotype image but not all of us.So put your false nails away because where I am at the moment is totally irrelevant!! To claim a whole city is fake is bullshit!
No sweetie. Think you should read my post I don't have fake nails! I also said I am a stereotypical scouse girl and proud. That certainly does not make me a bimbo in your words who's negatively labelling there???
I didn't say we are all like that you claimed that look is "trashy" who's claws are out not mine.... I'm not trashy thank you very much. Just because I take care in my appearance doesn't mean you can label me like that.
Don't see the girls of many other cities getting huge spreads in Vogue magazine promoting the look like we got a la the "Liverpool Look" I'm pretty sure Vouge doesn't do "trashy".
Would be interested to know if you are a proper scouser ie born and breed in the L postcode like I am? Normally as a general rule us scousers tend to stick together......
Not when they are coming out with crap. "
Is that why you PM'd me?? Well he's my reply to your pm seeing as I couldn't sent it to you...
.
Don't see how I'm defending arseholes? I posted further up read it.... Said I am stereotypical scouse girl I like looking good for me....didn't say everyone's like that. Although you have to admit the majority of girls in the city have a 'look' if that's your bag fine if it isn't fine....
You implied I was trashy and a bimbo not the case I'm a project manager on large construction projects.
Think we're gonna have to agree to disagree on this one?!?
Yeah would be good to discuss in person I always say you can't judge a book by its cover.. Mwah xx
--------------------------
As for the crap comment it was you who started throwing derogatory comments like trashy and bimbo about not me. Now that's what I call crap talking!

I dont have to bother with fake tans since im permanently tan and I was born with big hair that seems to look done all the time with no effort. Just got lucky in the hair department. I do like getting dressed up in sexy clothes that compliment my body. As far as other women, I think no matter what they do, if its done well its all good. If they feel sexy in it I say work it. I have a couple of friends who dress as the op described and they always pull it off. Why? Its attitude. They are confidant in themselves and never judge others for what they choose to wear or not wear. They accept all others as they come and know how to have a good time anytime. Sexy really does come down to confidence and attitude. If you dont have that, I dont think any amount of fake additions will come across very sexy at all. Whatever your "look" is, work it. |

Yea they look stunning walking round the town center on sat aft in their pjs with their hair curlers in lol
To me that is not at all classy.
even tho they probably look quite good once dressed n done n ready to go out in the evening
I believe looking classy is about how you present yourself in more than just looks. how you act. how you carry yourself so to speak. |
