No I have never wanted to either, status's do get me messaging but never positivley.
Its a shame status dont remain for ever so you could point out, it would change people's behaviour if there was a history of what they have written. |

I think good luck, unless they have cryptic status' all the time in which case I think be original.
Mine follow a pattern -
before weekend: a status saying where I'll be.
After weekend: comment on said night out.
Midweek: something random.
