If I like the opening post, I'll read it all. As we can see by other threads, they can change a bit as they go down and your comments might be not quite fitting |

I read the opening, scroll to the middle of the thread, decide if I need pop corn or not
And start reading from the top... |

Top to bottom... It's amazing how often my thoughts on my response change as I read more of the thread. I may start out understanding the op's frustrations but end wanting to tell them to give their head a wobble |
