If I like the opening post, I'll read it all. As we can see by other threads, they can change a bit as they go down and your comments might be not quite fitting

Depends how long has passed since the first comment. Scrolling on my phone makes me feel sick

I start at the top usually, unless I'm on my phone then I sometimes scroll to the bottom because it's quicker.

Sometimes I miss a heifer quietly inserted in a thread and I go back for another read...

And start reading from the top...

Top to bottom... It's amazing how often my thoughts on my response change as I read more of the thread. I may start out understanding the op's frustrations but end wanting to tell them to give their head a wobble
