Why do some people find this so hard to understand .....

I got a very good friend ...hes in the army ...am i his next of kin so that im the one who tells his mum if anything happens to him ..

Hes due home shortly and to leave the army in approx 6/8 months

i will admit to anyone ...yes i do love him but as a brother

Just some of the negative texts ive been getting from friends and the ex family is doing my head ....

Just laughed as the ex mothr in law said there was 3 people in my marriage ...me the ex and him ....so just politely said the 3 rd person was her precious sons gf .......rant over

Yoir right about that. Men don't seem to understand we can love another man in a non sexual way

Just ignore them and if it wasn't in a sexual nature they're wrong to interfere x

There was another discussion about this earlier - most seemed to think it was the worst kind of cheating.

Some people do find it difficult to understand.

I have a few very good friends who are women - it doesn't mean I want to jump into bed with them.

LONDON (se)

In my life most of my best friends have been guys but when they are in serious relationships I get put on tje bavk nurner as they don't like theit guy having a girl as a best mate. I for ine would never ditch a guy friend for a relationship. It just proves they don't trust me if they can't except my friendship. I can't be with someone thay doesn't trust me

i work in a male dominated environment, i would say most of my friends 85% are male and yes they are friends and just that

and some men do not understand that you can have a Platonic friendship and have nothing sexual in it!!

Its the whole "when harry meet sally" thing isn't it about men and women can't be friends because the sex part always gets in the way, what a load of crap. Two of my best friends are woman and they both know i fancy them and always have done. We been friends for 20 odd years now and its never got in the way if our friendship in any way at all.

I have friends of both sexes, but none that would have anybody accuse me of having three people in my marriage. I don't think anybody is suggesting men and women cannot be friends are they?

All of my mates are blokes. My ex never had an issue with it; as far as he was concerned he fell in love with a tomboy who just didn't look like one and part of loving me was accepting my friends regardless of what sex they were.
