"Love the cycling, I watch all the grand tours, not sure who I would put money on this year, Quintana is one to watch out for but I will be crossing my fingers for Chris again "
Same thoughts here, thinking it's almost a straight shootout between the two if them, maybe throw in Nibali or Contador as a spanner in the works. |

Qiuintana isn't riding, somewhat optimistically Movistar are backing Valverde hence why Quintana was in Italy.
I think it'll be close between Contador and Froome, SKY are looking weaker thia year though. Of Nibali gas 'prepared' well he could push them both close.
I think one of the GC contenders will lose significat time on rhe cobbles in tge first week

I thought I heard them say during the giro he was riding, valverde isn't going to be anywhere new,
I think I wildcard could be bauke mollema with big laurens leading him up the hills, I love the belkin colour scheme, especially with them using green bianchi's |

As a confirmed MAMIL (Middle Age Man In Lycra) and Cycling fan it will be excellent to see the pro teams on the road we all cycle on. I will be out on Holm moss watching an wondering why they don't sound like an old steam engine on the way up like I do LOL. Also I do like some of the complaints from the French teams saying the dry stone walls are too dangerous and can we take a lot of them down before hand LOL welcome to Yorkshire |

One of my friends did the Paris Roubaix sportif at the weekend, has huge blisters on his hands
I've been out and watched it and it's unbelievable the speed they hit the cobbles. I much prefer the excitement of Roubaix and Flanders to the Tour |

"As long as it's not an American winning it"
The only American winner is one of the greatest cylists ever, has one of the most amazing comeback stories in any sport and in won arguably the greatest tour ever |

But how do we know Lemond was clean?
Great to see him win by 8 seconds over Fignon, a guy who doped himself to death so it makes you wonder how clean Lemond was. |

Fignon himself thought the doping was the cause of the cancer
