I wouldn't say it's a kick start for a fitness programme as you need a level of fitness to do it properly.
Maybe you get leg problems because you have concentrated on upper body only and neglected legs in the past. Not suggesting your vain ![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

I did it for about 2 months the leg work out is definitely worth it. A lot of jumping, add some ankle weights or hold a dumbbell whilst jumping, you will be sore for days.
I got bored of it though. |
