I (S) am a teacher and today is my first week day of summer break! I started this by waking up at 3:30 when he (A) went to work and not being able to fall back asleep...so I made myself eggs and toast...yes, at 4:30 in the morning. The plan for today is to go get my hair done. My appointment is in two hours and I am going BLONDE! I haven't done that since I was a teenager and I am excited (and a bit nervous)!
Any other teachers on Summer Break!? |

We go back mid-August...so about 10 weeks. Why such a long break? We need it. It is needed enough teaching general ed (which I have done)...but I now teach kids with major behavioral issues...so it is even more needed. |
