You can't really, but watch for shingles after, not being funny or nothing, but common in older people after chicken pox.

Calamine cream and antihistamine can help

Just don't scratch your spots as you will scar!

Also, as chicken pox can be more serious in adults your GP may give you antibiotics, other then that it's dosing on paracetamol to keep any pain and fever at bay.

Is it something you need to go to your GP for?

I'm clueless with that kind of thing as I don't get sick!

Not unless you feel very very ill, paracetamol, calamine cream (not lotion) antihistamine if you can and ride it out I'm afraid x

It'll all depends on how bad your symptoms are as like I said it can be more serious in adults.

If all you've got are a few itchy spots and generally don't feel too bad then all you can do is stay home and rest!

I had Chicken Pox & German Measles at the same time when I was 13. I was at boarding school and we turned a couple of dormitories into sick bays. We used to sit in a big circle scratching each other's backs

Bicarb in your bath or put oats in an old stocking and hang it under the running tap as you fill the bath.

And try not to scratch cos they will scar.

Colloidal oatmeal. Also an effective treatment for eczema and psoriasis.

When my friend had chicken pox, she bathed in water with Baking Powder in, it helped relieve the itching.

I got it a week after breaking my leg playing rugby. When the cast came off there was 2 keys,1 pencil,2 pens and a comb inside the cast.

Torture doesn't nearly describe it

Offt panic over I think. Think I've taken a bad allergic reaction to something. No idea what though lol. There are no blisters so I'm thinking it's not the pox!
