Well it will certainly be interesting to see how Dave deals with him. It appears he thought it was ok as he wasn't married to the guy and didn't have a joint bank account etc etc etc FFS, he took a ride on the gravy train and fell off, like so many others before him and more will surely follow. |

am obviously totally against corruption and people on the gravy train.....but....
in his defense...
1; apparently he is an excellent and hard working mp.
2; he could have got more expenses by openly gay and claiming other legitimate expenses.
3;for whatever reasons,he did not want to come out,but was forced to.surely his sexuality is his own business.
i wish him all the best in his future.other polititions have done far worse. |

My comment was not aimed at you, it was the references from others about his sexuality.....Is he married?, I was under the impression that his long term partner is the man he was paying rent to? |

hes not married
not even read the story so I should not have commented maybe
but hes a man thats had independant wealth, I mean serious money for years
He was vice president of a bank at just 22 so hes made a lot of money
why he was claiming is beyond me
he says he never benefited financially but his closet partner sure did having him claim to live there when he had a home elsewhere
I think I caught a glimpse of his tv interview earlier where he made mention of his family being unaware so made the assumption he had a wife.
indeed as a single man with no wife, he should be flipplin loaded lol
