Any woman who is big and beautiful lol, size is not important I have fat friends and slim friends all of whom I think are gorgeous, I guess my size limit would be someone who's size prevents them from doing what they want to sexually. Not met one yet

I don't think in sizes/labels because what someone who is 5 ft and a size 18 looks like will be completely different to someone who's an 18 but 6ft.

For me personally I think curvy is hourglass but still toned. BBW is overweight without a few extra lumps and bumps (but no less fabulous).

I'm a big girl (5ft6" and a size 24), this is just my own personal opinion!

I, too, have strange proportions.

I have size 26/28 bust, size 18/20 waist and size 16/18 hips.

I've never in my (adult) life been able to buy a dress off-the-peg.

In all honesty I blame porn and media for a bad body image, skinny is considered beautiful and sexy while us fatties have been beaten with the ugly stick!! We've been mocked by fashion industry! My big toe is a size 0!! No one cares about the personality any more, I'm a good looking lass and I know it!! I quite like the term Rubenesque, but I've found that a lot of people dont know what that means.

I also struggle to find dresses, my boobs are usually too big, or my wide hips make me look like a triangle that's been hit by a bus! I used to wear dresses withbelts so my waist would look smaller, or ones that hug my hips/bum without making me look frumpy.

Bit off topic there.

I think a bbw is who would class themselves as a bbw. Who is to decide what to label you but you?

In response to whoever said that men like bbws more than you thought, and whoever was talking about media (sorry, dont remember names)... Ive found that a lot of guys around my age (20) like bigger girls, but don't want their friends to know about it!

A couple of years ago, a really hot friend of mine, kissed me one night (sober) and another friend caught it on camera. His friends saw the picture and denied that it was him kissing me because, and I quote "who would want to kiss a fat chick?" Then laughed and half smiled at me as he walked away.

Life story over. My point is, the media makes it so men and women feel as though everyone should be skinny, so they feel embarrassed if they are attracted to a bigger girl.

I know some ladies don't like the term BBW but I will use it as the gorgeous OP has. I know that I do not get turned on by a lady who is size 8 to 10. My OH is size 26 and she is so sexy and amazing. A BBW to me is probably size 20 upwards but that's just my preference for a sexual or a life partner

Presumably its used because people who like BBWs are attracted to them because of their size, therefore they see them as beautiful because of their weight, despite their physical features. My partner and I went to a BBW evening once and he asked me why the place was full of ugly women? He hadn't realised it was BBW night and because he isn't attracted to large women for the sake of it, he didn't find them beautiful. To him they were unattractive, big yes, but certainly not beautiful.

I like to be referred to as beautiful (who doesn't?) but I would hate that to be just because of one physical attribute, my hair colour, my legs or indeed my body shape

I agree. As I said earlier, I'm an 18, definitely not slim but wouldn't consider myself BBW. Someone who's 5ft and an 18 will look so much different to someone 5ft 8 who's an 18

I'm 5' 10 and my dress size varies by shop but it's at least an 18. i know not everyone likes ladies my size but I've honestly not noticed much. i don't see being larger as either a draw or a put off. I have a size, face, attitude and about a thousand other limits but if someone seems nice I like to meet them if the chance arises and see from there. Its all relative though as some people are taller than others so 5ft size 20 looks far fatter than a 6ft size 20.

By the time I was 14 years old, I was 14 stone.. 5ft 7, size 8 feet, slightly overweight, 36DD boobs and an arse that wouldn't quit. But I was by no means fat. I was never out of breath or struggling to keep up...
