I find it real hard to decide on a definitive list, but I will say, I can't think of a better 5-record run than Stevie Wonder, from 1972's Music of My Mind through to Songs in the Key of Life in 1976, which includes the Talking Book, Innervisions and Fulfillingness' First Finale albums.
As close to sonic perfection as these two ears have heard. |
