I just want to express my gratitude to all who fought and served and those that still do, so we all have the freedoms to be who we are and be with who we choose. Thankyou.

This is by know way meant as a criticism of anyone who wishes to use this forum to pay their respects to the D-Day Veterans.

But because I've know idea how veterans of the D-day landing would feel about receiving tributes on a swinging site...

I've no way of knowing if they might feel offended...

Therefore I shall show my gratitude and pay respects to them and their fallen colleagues in a public arena I feel more befits their heroism and sacrifice...

Does it really matter where the respect is shown or given?

I for one send heartfelt thanks to those who liberated Europe from the vile disease that was (and still is) national socialism or the Nazi party. Their bravery and sacrifice allow me to express my opinions in a free and open democracy.

Perhaps those in the recent elections across Europe who want to return to isolationism and a thinly watered down versions of national socialism should today sit and think and remember the bravery and sacrifice of those men and women who liberated Europe.

Respect and heartfelt thanks are in order.
