Just going to give the car a check over, the MOT only a couple of months away it has just over 110,000 miles on the clock, and so far the only things to go wrong with it are the DPF got clogged up, and the alternator gave up on life, and fixed these problems myself

so if you have the same car and similar age, what problems have you had, has anyone got one that has made it to 200,000 miles or close to that and still going strong ?

I have had a few that I ran from zero to 150k a Jag which only had tyres and a couple of rear callipers on and a 535i that did 160k with me and that only had an alternator. Ok I am excluding break pads and tyres but no clutch or exhaust or anything else on them. Mind I did have an Alfa spider that disintegrated round me over 30k so you its a bit of a lottery.

The Focus TDCi's are notorious for problems with the EGR valve plus a couple of other things. Talk to MrWho or Fire Blade about them
