My 50th, spent it on a cruise on Lake Nasser and the Nile, also did a Hot Air Balloon ride.
Came home and my neighbours had all clubbed together and laid on a party for me.
Also I realised that I was 50 not dead |

I remember when I was 10. I made my Aunt feel old because I'd reached double figures and I had a bike as my main present
I also remember my 21st. I was working as a holiday rep and spent the day in the toilet as I'd been out the night before and overdone things slightly |

My 28th.....my Mrs came into the bedroom in the morning with cards etc saying "Happy Birthday".
I asked what she was talking about and she said "Its your birthday",I'd genuinely forgotten all about it,no kidding.
I've done my level best to forget about them ever since too.
I'm not one for wanting a fuss on my birthday......just as long as I'm around to see them will do for me. R
