When we two parted

In silence and tears,

Half broken-hearted

To sever for years,

Pale grew thy cheek and cold,

Colder thy kiss;

Truly that hour foretold

Sorrow to this.

The dew of the morning

Sunk chill on my brow

It felt like the warning

Of what I feel now.

Thy vows are all broken,

And light is thy fame:

I hear thy name spoken,

And share in its shame.

They name thee before me,

A knell to mine ear;

A shudder comes o'er me--

Why wert thou so dear?

They know not I knew thee,

Who knew thee too well:

Lond, long shall I rue thee,

Too deeply to tell.

I secret we met

I silence I grieve,

That thy heart could forget,

Thy spirit deceive.

If I should meet thee

After long years,

How should I greet thee?

With silence and tears

we are all equal in this world, intelect is just an east escape for humans to measure ppl by. i prefer behaviour.

A man with intelect can still break the law

Note i don't have anything against intelectuals. Just what i stated above

A book called Butterfly, cannot remember the author, but was about a club for women where you could go and live out any sexual fantasy. Keep saying I am going to re-order it as I lent it out and never got it back

Is it based on a real story or fiction?

its fiction based, she is an excelleent writer

i tink i like her cos all of my family are from the east end of london. Not that any of them are part of the Gangland scene - that i know of

lol - I guess if you can relate to the background it makes it a lot more "home" - I actually prefer facts to fiction but occasionally do pick up fiction. But will look out for the one you mentioned .
