Hi,
I build websites for a living and wonder if people think it is worth building naughty ones for people to share their naughty pics on?
They can be password protected so only those you invite can see them  |

Ah, no, I mean a personal website where just your best pics are arranged nicely and you can share the link with people you know and only they can login to look.

I suspect you'd find this a bit more complex than building an average website. For example your business is likely to be based upon making sure your members pics are totally secure. If you suffered data leaks no-one would want to go with you. So it's not enough to have one password for a members page...you'd have to create a system where the member is the moderator of the page and invites people on, giving them each a password which they can use. The member would then need tools to see exactly how many times each of their viewers has been accessing the page. If there is a sudden spike it may be that their password has leaked out, in which case they could shutdown that password and set up a new one. On top of this I would recommend you look into technology to prevent people from right clicking and downloading the pics.
That's just what came to mind thinking about the idea for 10 seconds. I can imagine more potholes would unravel the more you spent time on it. I genuinely don't mean to put you off if it's your passion...just giving you a flag up to say it might involve some pretty advanced application development imo |

I'm guessing you would provide the servers? ... and take the risk of having obscene imagery which may be considered illegal sitting on your own hard drives. If so you'll need to come up with some water tight legal disclaimers and/or some method for policing people's pics to make sure no underage stuff 'accidentally' makes it's way onto your hard drives. Otherwise you then run into the problem of which country and with whom the data should be stored.
I'll stop now...I can see this one unraveling even more if I think about it too much. But there you go...there's a few issues to have a think about Good luck |

I think its a good idea because you can put on display all your pictures without fear of them being removed and a lot less chance of unwanted messages. For example, on this website I don't think its wholly right to display the fetish type pictures because it encourages, for me anyway messages of 'I'd love to tie you up...' On another website I was on, access to my pictures was blocked completely because I displayed a few risque pictures and they were deemed not appropriate for the site, so yes I am all for it  |

Run a site for someone and has free and paid galleries and video downloads. We get notified of uploads so can verify and remove illegal content.
Getting others to join and sell content is the hard part as so many sites out there. Main site owner/camgirl has driven features to avoid most of the annoyances from other sites she used.
Payment processing was a real faff too.

So do I, well part time I have other things I prefer to do. Problem is most hosting companies have exclusion clauses for adult material that can cost you your account i.e. all your other sites go down too...
So my advice would be to check the t&c's very carefully, and even then keep it on a different hosting company to your other business, would be embarrassing to have to explain to Fred the builder that his company website is down as your porn site got you banned. |

If it became part of the dark web, so that search engines etc never got to it, and somehow pic downloading was made much harder, then it may be viable. Whilst we in Europe have the right to be forgotten etc, much of the world does not have this, so international sales might be good. I have no clue if there is other stuff that offers this. |
